On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Nihonbashi Life Science Hub, Prof. Terumitsu Hasebe, Director of Global Vascular Co., Ltd. will speak at the symposium titled “Let’s Talk with the Winners of the 8th Japan Medical Research and Development Awards! — Challenges and Practical Insights for Translating Research into Societal Implementation,” hosted by the National Healthcare Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office.
Prof. Hasebe, a recipient of the Startup Prize at the 8th Japan Medical Research and Development Awards, will deliver a presentation titled “The World’s First BioStealth™ Stent for the Popliteal Artery Designed to Suppress Foreign Body Reactions: Development and Clinical Trials for Regulatory Approval in Japan and the United States” as part of the “Startup Award and Startup Encouragement Award Introduction Presentations.” He will also participate in the “Startup Award and Startup Encouragement Award Winners’ Panel Discussion.”
